As the holy month of Ramadan culminates, the historic city of Panipat is gearing up for grand Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations expected around March 20–21, 2026. Thousands of devotees will gather for the special morning prayers at the iconic Kabuli Bagh Mosque and Jama Masjid, sharing greetings of “Eid Mubarak” followed by traditional feasts featuring the city’s famous sweet sewaiyan.

As the sun transitions into Capricorn, the skyline of Panipat has transformed into a vibrant mosaic of colorful kites, marking the auspicious arrival of longer days and the harvest season. Families across the city gathered on rooftops to celebrate with traditional til-gul sweets and festive music, honoring a legacy of gratitude and communal harmony.

Panipat’s Gaushalas, including the prominent Shree Krishna Gaushala, transformed into hubs of spiritual fervor as thousands of devotees gathered to perform Gau Pujan and seek blessings on the auspicious occasion of Gopashtami. The city’s streets echoed with hymns and traditional folk songs, celebrating the deep-rooted bond between the agrarian community and the holy cow, while local leaders emphasized the importance of cattle conservation and sustainable dairy practices.
